Searing arrows

If archer has a searing arrow enabled but his basic attack has 0 damage.
Can I detect searing arrow damage?
Is it a 2nd attack or is it the same attack?

Not reliable.
The way to detect such damage is not searing arrow but something that gives a buff like black arrow. If the unit that takes damage has the specific buff and the buff is removed it means the unit took damage from a unit with that specific ability at that sepcific time.

The same attack.
