(Search Area) Effect, changing the arc?

Is there any way of only picking units on one side of a line, or within two angles, in front of a unit?

I want to have a unit with two different weapons on it, the weapons can only fire on either side of the unit. o|o

Is there any easy way of doing this?

Try using a turret. Maybe the start angle can be used as an offset for the movement arc, which you then restrict.

I don't really understand, could you clarify?

He means make a turret on the unit and have it's movement path restricted.
Meaning like, if you have say a siege tank, you add a turret to it's left side and restrict its movement 90' so that it can only move around and face the left side of the tank.
However a turret (to my knowledge) will auto-fire.
