sc2 Map Advertisements

okay i have read that you can sells map corect well i was thinking about advertisement in maps.
Eg: Loading screen loads then it says Sponsered by Armored Games, Hiveworkshop ect.
They do this in flash games but would you do this in a map??
(How much they pay is on the quality f the game)

I would gladly sponsor the hiveworkshop without any pay since they supply all the resources you need and every here is pretty nice

I love the idea of advertising, I would include for those who pay me for it, and those who have helped me on the way to create the map, maybe even advertise for my own website.

I would never take money for a map, even if it were possible though!

I think people do that already but without any payment, like stick in "Visit Clan WTF at http://clanwtf.lol to download the latest version of this map!" somewhere in the loading screen

Well, you'd have to be careful. While they're going to approve selling maps through them, they will most likely frown heavily on trying to make money through other channels (like in-game advertising) so make sure to read the EULA carefully before you try to sell ad-space.

Edit: But a game that had a game quality of DoTa they would pay advert space

well if blizzards payment requires everyone to pay.., I would far prefer, adding a couple adds to the loading screen, or maybe ingame quest...
it would be cool to if blizzard were to offer such a service built in (all users choose to either pay for the map, or view a couple ads, with outside sponsors fronting the bill

no well he's saying that if blizzard chooses sc2 to be like W0W and pay for online then he would gladly add a few sponsers and sponsered quests to pay the bill.

And i was saying if we had adds we could remove all pay maps so things like that doesn't happen

actually meant pay per map but yea.. id much rather take a couple cents per player from a batch of sponsors, than from the actual players.
