Samir Duran, Who is he?

This is a discussion area for perhaps the most unique and mysterious character of Starcraft: Samir Duran.

My personal belief is the real Duran is dead(Sadly, his body was probably used as a reference for this 'Duran'). And is infact a Changling in service to the Dark Voice, serving as his creator of the army.

Well I doubt he is zerg at all. At least not changeling as they are rather new strain of zerg. He could probably be same race as dark voice (xel'naga splinter group?) or maybe was simply created to appear as human. Its really weird that he doesn't appear or is mentioned in sc2 even though hybrids are the main focus. Unless you count Dr. Emil Narud.

Perhaps he was a creation with shapeshifting powers, and that is also possible Misha. Who knows, maybe Duran will appear in SCII as a general of the hybrids or sommat. He probably works on advancing the hybrid, and spreading their numbers. Anyways, he will most likely be highly involved in the apocalypse.

Duran most likely is behind Sc2 terran Hybrid research centers, like the one Raynor blew up in that bonus mission.
