Not bad, not bad at all, though I would add a second strap over the other shoulder, as it just looks like its magically hanging up on the otherside atm
I think it is a steel bib. They only add one metal strap to let the right arm manoeuver easily. However they quite often use a small leather strap on the other side. The model is quite good in general.
It's really really cool quality model. I always wanted Steel Bib version of Soviet Soldier.
I am learning to model too some. My 'prototypes' aren't ready to be publicised yet though
Some of the infantry units doesn't have their Lights shown properly during attack animation. This is because the Light nodes are on Z=0, making it disappear beneath the flat ground.
T-70's default size is abnormally smaller than the other vehicles in the pack (although this problem is negligible)
Please remove the unneeded animation tracks from all the models as well as please fixing all issues it still has.
Like this for example: Sanity Test
You can use this tool for it: MDLX Optimizer
There are still unused tracks/key frames in some models (you need to sanity check all models carefully) and also some model have extremely buggy geoset animation properties (like this one: Sanity Test , a geoset should only be referenced by one geoset animation, else it is prone to sever bugs)
Please go through all models carefully one by one.
You've done a LOT of incredible stuff with Dave's models! I'm just wondering: could you also build off his police models to make some really awesome cops/robbers/civilian stuff?
Red Army (Bolscheviks, Reds, RKKA) of the 1920s, based on author's models HerrDave and Syczewski. Bolschevik units: - Cavalry1 - Cavalry2 - Rifleman1 - Rifleman2 - Officer - HMG - LMG - ArmouredCar - Flag
One of the best packs out there. If only there would be matching icons for all units :/ Maybe you should add a link to Icons for HerrDave's WWII models
i wonder who is crazy enough to make a ww2 map in wc3 will probably be fun playing especially if the range of weapons was large and soldiers die from 2 rifle shots
