I really like Rise of Nations.The conquer-the world campaigns,especially cold war,are really addictive IMO.

It's not that popular but I found praetorians pretty interesting (not a 'brilliant' rts) but I definitely enjoyed playing it, guess it just seemed unique to me at the time...
