Felt like making a terrain for a RP. I tried to talk about stuff over at SotDRP's forums, but the lack of IQ from some people annoy me. ("sux. only meh does terraformed cliffs gtfo" kind of stuff (that's a quote)).

Why did I want to make a terrain for a RP? Cause I felt like it and it's a large scale project for me. Teaches me commitment.
So, I'm planing to make anything and everything removable, except for mountains and stuff since making negative size craters don't work well. This basically means everything are destructibles, they are also forced onto the grid because of this.
Tell me what you think, provide logic, reason, and suggestions. I don't want anything like the quote in the first paragraph. The only 'good' thing I got from them is the "oddly" angled rocks. I lowered them so they looked like they were part of the mountain, I'll make some SS in a minute, just unsure how to make the cave cavelike and not use Blizzard's model, which is a cliff.

Edit: Please keep in mind I haven't terrained in a long time.

Flat. Boring. The rock chunks look really bad, especially the way you place them. They seem to act as an "outline" for the waterfall, which is unnatural and ugly. Furthermore, they don't even blend with the rock tile. I suggest you use this model: http://www.hiveworkshop.com/forums/pastebin.php?id=y6j7k3 and instead of Ashenvale rock tile, use the Village rock tile.

Also, that cave with the abyss tiles... I don't like it at all. It doesn't look like a cave, it just looks like a black-painted wall surrounded by odd-looking rocks.

I have it flat because it is a RP map. When I RP, I get annoyed at bumps in the ground because it makes buildings face at an angle, certain ones anyways.
And I'm pretty much asking about the rock chunks. I need a good way to make those things without it being really obvious about the rock chunks.
As for you with the cave, firstly, how would I make it look more like a cave? The outline of rocks were to make it look more . . Cavelike. I think it looks like a cave, not sure why others don't see it.

Alright, I tried to make the cave with the rock model you cave me.
Before I go on, where are others like that? I like it.

So, I put it on the little corner, how does it look? Better?
