Omg, you rock dude!
Thanks a lot guys! The Defend anims are a perfect match! Realistic too! As I'm sure a knight would rather his shield than his face be hit with arrows..
This model is great. A couple of things that could be improved maybe: add an Attack Defend animation, like footmen; and maybe slightly lower the shield when in Defend stance, especially when walking, because it's a bit weird that the rider is heading forward without looking where he is going![]()
And again another great model.
The first time i see a Walk Defend animation on a rider (knight model).
Keep up the good work man!![]()
Thank you! I will do an "Attack Defend" animation soon.Awesome model! just
add animation "defend attack" please! 10\10
Do not forget that the animation "Stand Defend" is made for the skill "Defend" which is intended primarily to protect against long-range attacks. So you Defend while you're riding on the horse? Nevermind darn good model man might wanna switching to lance instead. Cus that would be cool to see.
Yeah, him too.Could u do knight with knight spear too? But i trully prefer to see spearman and crossbowman ^^
Thank you! The idea about the horse is interesting, maybe later I will implement it.Very nice model.
If you were to remove the 'clothing' on the horse, the Rider would be more fitting for a Light Cavalry unit.
xDPony rider.
Okay, I'll get the old model back, but a little later.I prefered the old horse. So heavy infantry above a naked horse feels weird.
I don't particularly like the proportions of the horse myself. If there is time I will return to this modelYikes, the horse body proportions are all wrong, you should check the archmage or bandit mage mount, and try to emulate those proportions.
I plan to make an Archer. You are improving the horse day after day. Is nice to see how ur skills are evolving. What do u plan to do next?
I believe that this enough for Warcraft. The range and angle of the camera that is used in the game does not allow you to fully examine the units)Though your model keeps improving, the horse clashes too much with the rider :s, maybe you can base your horse on this model: Knight, at leats for the leg proportions
Yes, I THINK IT's POSSIBLEAny chance we could get a riderless horse to match this unit? Would be nice to have so you can train footmen from the barracks and horses from somewhere else, then have them mount to make the rider, sort of like the archer/hippogryph rider.
I think I'll leave it at that.I think the Walk Defend animation should be "the shield is in head and not the body + covering its face" Its like covering their heads for incoming arrows when they are charging. The rest is good.
Thanks)Dude I love this model! Simple, yet genius.

I like the idea of the unarmored horse, gives more variation considering that pretty much every other horseman model uses the same horse.
The proportions do look a bit ponyish, hoping you can later return to this model, best of luck!

Ready! Many unused materials and textures. Please remove them. Also, please add an in-game screenshot to it.
Hmm. I'm not having that problem.I have a problem with the rider, I added the portrait, but in the game it doesn't show the character's face. (The portrait does not work)
Anyone having a problem with this?
I finally understood what the problem wasHmm. I'm not having that problem.
Is the portrait named EXACTLY the same as the model, only with _(Portrait) added? Because some variations require some renaming for them to work.
Which version of the portrait are you using?
