I think this is what you want:
  • Untitled Trigger 083
    • Events
      • Unit - A unit Dies
    • Conditions
      • Or - Any (Conditions) are true
        • Conditions
          • (Unit-type of (Triggering unit)) Equal to Paladin
          • (Unit-type of (Triggering unit)) Equal to Archmage
    • Actions
      • Player - Limit training of (Unit-type of (Triggering unit)) to 0 for (Triggering Player)
 
ooo tht might work thx for ur effort maker i already switched my thing over to make it a timed revive. i might give tht a try tho to see which one i like better sry cant give u rep atm thx for the help tho

edit: did a little checking into the way u suggested maker. it doesnt look like it will work for what i want to do. it disallows me from training more of those units thx tho

In the LOTR maps e.t.c. they just remove it I think, but then they are not on the scoreboard ofc. ;p Why dont you make a custom revive system? Also, have you tried hiding it?

Hero dies -> add units trainable (dummy hero)

dummy hero traind -> Revive hero. Limit training of dummy hero between 0 and 1 for on and off as Maker suggested.
