Reverse Siphone Mana

I want to make a unit that works as a power generator. In this game mana is working as energy and I want to make powerstations that send mana from themselfs to the building they are powering. I figured I might be able to reverse the Siphone Mana ability some how but can't figure it out.

Well yes, you can use Siphon Mana and give it a positive effect, by holding Shift in the editor, then double clicking the value it is supposed to take.
The value allows negative amounts ( in this case, they become positive ), so that you can create a mana-regenerating effect with Siphon Mana.
In this case, remember to change the target types to Ally.

I cannot seem to set it to work on allies. I have changed the target to "Allied, Structures" and alternatively "Player Units, Structures" and it keeps telling me I cannot attack allied units...

Based on my experience, Siphon Mana or Life Drain effect CANNOT be in negative form
The minimum value must be 0.01, or not, it will result in "Cannot attack allied units"

i think its impossible, the only solution is use TRIGGER for it.

change the gameplay constants

(Advanced - Gameplay Constants - Check "Use Gameplay Constants" - Gameplay - Drain Transfers Mana: true - Press OK[this is important])

Absorb Mana from Obsidian Destroyers work for this. Just set the value to negative.

Note however than you can still cast this on manaless units and hence waste it.
