there is a model I know of that could fit your request, but it is on [russian site not to be named] and as such I can not link it. but I can tell you it's called "Стёпа" and it is on the 4th page, and looks like a peasant with a green vest and with a rifle strapped to his back.

1. I suck at skinning

2. Even if i was good with skinning how does a pickaxe turn into a rifle?

Ah, I remember that model. Is great I think it will fit very well as a shepherd too.
