Replaceable Texture question!

So I was wondering if anyone here knows anything about replaceable textures!
Cause we could use them like wow uses them!

for instance player1 tc could be not even a color at all! it could be a chest texture player 2 tc could be a leather armor texture and so on :) Just wondering if anyone knows anything about this or how to make something like that work! it would be a new concept for wc3 :D

It depends on what models used. Paladin has four variations. Blademaster has two. For other models that have no model variation, this is what we could do (If I DO remember from one thread)

1. Extract the model and (Optional) potrait from the MPQ
2. Rename both files different, but not too different from the original
3. Import them to the map
4. Import the skin to the path used for the "imported" model
5. It should work right away!

However, it would've take a clusterfuck of filespace. I don't really reccommend that.
