Removing hero ability help!

Hi i need help!
Basically i want to remove a hero ability once it reaches level 7 and replace it with another ability (So i can have a different icon).
I did this

Unfortunatly this causes the ability "Dawnwing" to, instead of being completely removed, be set to level 0, which means my hero can just learn the ability all over again. In the end of this trigger i have "Ysera's Blessing" spell and a relearn-able Level 0 "Dawnwing" spell.

If only 1 such spell exist or one per player you can disable the ability for that player (it wont be seen).

Wow thanks a bunch! It works. It's a very strange work-around.

The way Leveling an ability works must depend on if the hero has the ability and what level it is. Its kind of a flawed system.

Pretty much Hero ability when removed makes it unlearned instead of being erased. Another solution, which is more complex than Pinzu said is to utilize dummy ability to learn and make some workaround for the real ability.

it does get removed...
hero learn abilities are directly get from the unit type base hero abilities in the object editor.
at start, all abilities will be 0, so you dont have those abilities.
When you learn an ability to level 1, you gain the ability and all other times, you just level it up.

when you remove the ability, you remove the ability...

Wietlol, hence why this become issue when one want to ERASE the ability permanently.

You have to remove the data in the object editor... which is impossible during gametime.
What you can do is replace the unit with a reversed morph or create custom hero abilit levelups.
