How do I remove Call to Arms from the Town Hall? I created a new unit based on it but I cannot find how to remove it.

i've removed the ability from both peasant and town hall, i know it's the right town hall because both peasant and town hall both have custom model files, yet the ability remains on the town hall
if it's really troublesome for you, you might wanna try creating a blank map and do the same thing. if it's working, then there must be something wrong with your current map.
also, I assume you have removed the ability from the town hall so the current town hall abilities will be like this :
Abilities - Normal Blight Dispel Large, Return Gold and Lumber
yes i've left those abilities behind, removed only call to arms, yet in game back to work and call to arms both remain
i didn't explain myself properly, the custom unit is based off the castle,hmm, what I found is that Town Hall doesn't have Call To Arms in its Abilities - Normal field, only Keep and Castle do. In this case, creating a new Town Hall out of either Keep or Castle might do the job.

i'll have a go, thanks for you input thoughHow about you try using a normal building and turning it into a town hall using units built, upgrades researched and so in the object editor. it's the only way I can think of right now.
