Region Ambient Sounds

Hello. Does anyone know what the required settings are for a sound (Sound Properties) to work properly in a Region (Ambient Sound)?

I've tried all the effects/channels in sound proprties but it never works.

Now that's weird, i can't even turn regional ambient sounds on anymore. (latest patch)

edit: nevermind, can only use sounds you marked for use in the sound editor

Finally found a combination that worked:

Check 3D sound
Check Stop when out of range

Effect: DefaultEAXON
Channel: Looping Ambient

Min Distanc: 600
Max Distance: 3000
Distance Cutoff: 3000
