Original Problem
I am working on a big, epic-sized RP map. The original editor released it to the public and also released another map containing JUST the units to avoid massive lag. However if I was to edit the triggers/scripting and imports, I'd have to revert to the original, huge map with around 15, XXX doodads. This seems impossible to save as the limits put together for doodads and destructibles is 14, XXX (XXX = Unknown numbers). I cannot save the map with this many doodads so I tried a different way to do it. I opened WEU-NoLimits patch and applied the 1.18-1.20 patch (Seeing as my editor was 1.20) and tried to save. The moment you press the button, it crashes the editor. Is there anyway to work on the map by being able to keep the doodads?
Yes.
Solution
Using WEU Enhancer, you must export the doodad layer into a WDO file (The Enhancer automatically selects this option). Then you will have to delete all the doodads from the map. After you're sure you're finally finished with the map, using WEU Enhancer, import the WDO file back into the map. Now your map should be ready!
