Basically a more detailed version of Vladadamm's instructions.
Simply go into your world editor, select the Window dropdown, and see where Brush List is checked. Uncheck it. You're done! Easy, huh? Now you can create or delete 60 new units in the object editor without delay!
from A simple way to greatly reduce Object Editor lag!

You can do this:
1.) In the World Editor, click Window and uncheck Brush List... (The brush list updates itself to whatever changes made at the object editor, that causes lag)
2.) In the World Editor, click File > Preferences and reduce the undo limit. (World Editor saves your last action so you can undo it, but who needs 256 undos?)
3.) Right-Click World Editor > Properties > Compatibility, then check "Disable visual themes" "Disable desktop composition" and "Disable display scaling on high DPI settings"

Should make no difference. Caching more changes should have no influence on performance as the memory used should be minimal and memory alone does not degrade performance unless your system has run out of free memory.

3.) Right-Click World Editor > Properties > Compatibility, then check "Disable visual themes" "Disable desktop composition" and "Disable display scaling on high DPI settings"
I believe this is for Vista/W7 only. This should make no noticable difference as the desktop is hardware accelerated and the CPU and I/O bottleknecks various editor opperations.
