A few models being worked here and there, waiting from Slaydon to "unbusy" himself to start working on core engine stuff, not much. We are in an urgent need of a good data guy as well.

He is looking for someone skilled at using the data editor feature in SC2. This involves creating entries into various catalogs for SC2 to use ingame. Especially with the use of actors, a great deal of knowledge is needed in the area.

So you deleted my post too? You do realize he was asking for a Data expert and both of the posts you deleted were about Data. . . right? I happen to be a Data expert so deleting my posts is only decreasing his chances of finding someone. I might have referred a friend who is in between projects, but if I'm going to have my posts deleted for shaky reasons I'm certainly not going to encourage my friends to suffer the same questionable moderating.

This is also quite funny coming from you considering you posted in this thread about StarCraft Universe along with several other people who have completely derailed the thread:

That had nothing to do with SCU. . . If you're going to delete funny posts that illustrate how scary the Data Editor is when he's looking for a Data expert, you can at least delete your OWN posts when you derail a thread.

As someone who frequents the Data Editor I would strongly recommend making a list of the more important things you need your Data expert to do. There are many areas within the Data Editor that people can focus in so it's much more likely that you will need several different DE experts as opposed to when mega-uber-DE Expert.

There's loads of stuff, from actor swaps and unit variables to hardcore spell/skill/ability making. As a matter of fact, most people can fill in, as we need experts on most Data Editor sections. So yeah, we need everyone.
