[Recruiting] Starcraft Galaxies

Starcraft Galaxies, a massive MMO Project takes upon the storyline of the game and turns it in an MMO. Though, the story will play out in timelines. The first timeline is set to 2488. The Infested hybrids will be available for play after 2452 (Kerrigan's De-infestation).

Creating a character

Character creation will consist of many choices, such as a Race, Faction, and a member of said faction.
For example, a Protoss player could be in the Templar Caste, and a member of a tribe under that caste.

Gameplay:

The gameplay is set out in timelines, first starting at 2488. When the game reaches a more mature state, and closer to the end of Starcraft 2, the storyline will stay there and start off at Unknown Legacies of characters in the game. This means that the timeline will stay there until an event happens and the game progresses. At that time, new quests will be implemented, and more content will be implemented.

Class Concept Update: We have already discussed about race specific classes, and we're proud to present you these:

Psionic Terran: Psionic Terrans are Terrans that prefer to use their Psionic powers either in their pure form, or enhancing items with them, such as bullets.

Specializations: A psionic terran will progress through his training, but will choose which program to join. The Ghost program is mostly focused in enhancing deadly projectiles with psi-power, creating psi-blasts and more. The Specter program is designed to make a Terran more like Protoss, enhancing their own bodies to break human bounds. Last, there is the Phantom program, where Phantoms put their skills to use to improve the medical situation of their allies, and enhance their bodies to withstand more damage.

Templar Protoss: Templar Protoss are the counterpart of Terrans, which focus on their Psionic powers, or the powers of the void.

Specializations: A Templar Protoss can take on different paths, but is always allowed to choose which. The Nerazim Training will allow him to vanish and assasinate his targets with ease, an even give him the ability to transfer his body. The Khalai Training will improve his powers, allow him to manipulate his psionic powers to reach the highest output possible, such as manipulating the minds of weaker subjects or causing their neural systems to temporarily collapse. Last, there is the Neural(?) training, which will allow the protoss to mend most of their allies wounds, both physical and mental.

UPDATE: Was without a charger for a few weeks, now back online with a proper one.
(I had to use one that didn't fit in the socket very well, so i had trouble charging ma lappy)

Systems are progressing, namely the NPC system.


Also, added Voices in the list, as well will be using some new player sounds as well, and sounds for some quests.

This looks like a really interesting project.
That model you have made looks pretty good too, keep up the good work!
 
Our target is a full of lore game, with proper mechanics in the Koprulu sector, where you can take course of events (Unless there is something going on with Starcraft 2 itself) in Multiplayer, with as many players as possible. Leveling up with your friends and using skills to complete quests, slay opponents in a PvP environment to take the course of events, own planets, and much more.

Also, a new table has been added with the races, factions and subfactions. Suggest what you think the infested should be.

You mean the United Kingdom? That matches this place prety well, from the crap hotels to no internet connections for tourists lol.

I advise doing voices towards the end of the project, when dialog is prety much set in stone. In early production stages it is not uncommon to heavilly revise the dialog (script) that is used. Infact, that is how many of the unused Wings of Liberty campaign voiced dialog samples ended up sitting in the one mod (final last minute change to the campaign).

What, that Universe of Starcraft silly thing? Our project is actually resurrected. I used to work with Slaydon when we were in Worldcraft, but gave up on this and my map (Zergling Frenzy, look at my YT page on sig), and we quit WorldCraft (And TWIF had to find replacements x) )

Oh, that was a HUGE loss xD
He cried for days /sarcasm

Still, nice to see your doing something for once. I hope something comes of it :)

Well the problem with that is I have no way of editing the voices. If you guys were will for me to send you voice blanks and willing to alter them then sure, I will be more then willing to help play the other two faction's voices.

If I may, audacity is free and surprisingly good at voice manipulation - I mean it's only simple things like pitch, tempo etc but combined with acoustic voice manipulation it can work some wonders! I managed to make a half convincing naga voice easily enough :)

You should try it out man, otherwise I'm sure Statharas knows an alternative :p

My comp is a bit weird with voice programs that aren't attached to a movie maker. Tried to get a program call Voicematrix and it never really did anything it was supposed it. I will try though just to see if it will.

Also to add to what your protoss was saying, made it more protoss.

Well, this is for the spell casting classes, pretty good. The neutral should be The Khala/Void since it is kinda the middle group.

Ah, well the actual name for the Khalai and Void mix is Twilight. Tas and Adun are an example of this.
