In my map you need to take a class specialization (branch), it makes its spells stronger than others
-
Example: Taking Pyromancer specialization will make your Fire spells stronger than the others, this doesnt means the other spells will be nerfed


I can only have 3 branches

- long distance damager, extra range
  • Powershot (dispels on impact, shoots a powerful arrow in a line
  • Take position (gives dmg n range but effect is lost if u move
  • Arrow rain (arrows that falls later
  • Accurated shots (more dmg but fire rate is reduced a bit

= WINDRUNNER =
- quick dps, quick movement, lower range
  • Gust (speed bonus, movement and speed
  • Blowing arrow (cone area wind blow that push units away
  • Wind bolts (adds to ur arrows a pushing effect, last x secs
  • Mistform (hide, like night elves units

Spy: Low damage, spells disrupt enemy player rather than units. All spells are melee range.


Sneak: Becomes invisible, but moves slower. Breaking invisibility by using a spell refunds half its mana cost.

Blackjack: Stuns target unit.

Interrogate (non-hero ability): When used on a stunned enemy unit, reveals all units and buildings owned by that player for X seconds.

Sabotage: Target building stops producing.

Agent Provocateur: Nearby player-owned enemy units become Neutral Hostile.

False Messages: Plays random alarm messages (gold mine collapsed, base under attack, out of mana...) and pings a random point on the map for target player every 5 seconds for 30 seconds.

Aegis ranger:high defense, slow autoattack that deals average damage
Retaliate: speeds up attack speed temporarily, can be used only while low in health.
Dodge roll: can be cast on an opponent: makes your hero invulnerable for an extremely short time(1/5 second or less) while rolling away from your opponent unable to do anything until the dodge roll is over.
Cyclone shield: Makes target have increased resistance against ranged attacks and swaps position with that target (can be cast on opponent and allies but remember that buffing opponents might not be the greatest idea).
No idea for the rest.

Slayer: same ranged attack as a regular ranger, gets a set of melee abilities to shore up the weaknesses of the ranger at the cost of the loss of ranged abilities.
Instantaneous hit: instantly deal significant damage at a target in melee but costs a lot of mana and have a long cooldown.
Counter: opponents attacking you in melee takes fixed amounts of damage(or make it scale with a stat).
Point blank fragmentation: Your ranged autoattack deals aoe damage when used at targets in melee but not when used at distant targets.
Murderous dive: move in a straight line through any units in a direction dealing low damage to them.
In a general way those melee abilities should be balanced in such a way that a slayer ranger does not outburst burst based melee classes nor outdps dps based melee classes since you get ranged attacks too.

Forest Warden

Watcher in the Woods (Active): Reveals area and lowers enemy defense around the target tree.

Secret Paths (Passive): Kills trees in 200 radius around caster. Trees are resurrected when out of range of the ability.

Swiftsprout (Active): Creates 1-6 trees at the target point.

Forest's Fury (Active): Targets an area. Fires X+1 ballista bolts at random points in the area, X being the number of trees in 600 radius around the caster (maximum 10).

I like it although I suggest to give a timed life to trees created with swiftsprout so that you can not troll your allies.
An alternative would be to make so that they can be targeted like crates.

Wild fire ranger: ranger class branch about fire and setting things on fire, adept at area damage and destructing the environment.
Rampant propagation(passive): Makes all fire skills have bigger aoe and any fire skill that deals damage over time gains increased damage over time and can make things around the target on fire catch on fire for lesser damage, for each grade of rampant propagation there can be one more propagation step.
Blaze(active): Your hero leaves a trail of fire while walking or moving that causes units and destructible entering it to be set on fire making them take damage over time, the duration of the trail and damage per second raises with level.
Fire burst(active): Create a big explosion on the target unit or destructible damaging all units and destructible in a radius proportional to the rank of rampant propagation
Avatar of fire(active, ultimate ability): replaces the ranger with an indestructible moving and growing tornado of fire for a temporary duration.
