Random Unit Battlefield 1.20

This bundle is marked as useful / simple. Simplicity is bliss, low effort and/or may contain minor bugs.

Random Unit Battlefield

Map Info:

The map layout is a basic 3v3, three lane'd game.
Each player must create various buildings to push through their respective lane to defeat their opponents.
The core building of this game is the Random Unit Generator, these periodically create random units, and each time you upgrade it, the stronger the units will be.

Currently, the map is very basic, with only one type of Random unit Generator and not much team work involved, and not many triggers when a player is defeated. Check out my hopeful updates section just below this.

Hopeful updates
If Time lets me, I have a huge list of things I would like to add.
-Four different types of Random Unit Generator's: A melee generator, a ranged generator, and a spell caster generator, with 3 tiers for each type. And a late-game generator with special powerful units.
-More defeat triggers: When a player defeats his opponent on HIS lane his units will start moving to the next lane to help his ally. And removing Headquarters if the player is not present.
-AI units sent to fight, therefore no micro will be available. (I will have to have the AI auto cast every spell)
-More balancing

As you can see, this will be very very time-consuming, and if I do have time, I may not be in the mood to map make. Possibly, a reliable someone can take the job off my hands?

Notes:
I don't have much time on my hands lately, so I will be adding screen shots/videos when I can, I apologize for this mediocre description.

Hope for comments/feedback, ratings, downloads, and most importantly many players to play my map.

-I'm out!

played this game a couple of times with my mate, its really entertaining.
the concept of the map aint original and its kept simple, but that's what makes it so much fun =D
i hope for more units to be added and rebalance the current ones, the regenerator tree is kinda op right now. might want to change so you cant control your spawned units at all and they use all their spells automaticly, same for the spelltowers.

Random Unit Battlefield is a Tug-of-War style map in which players build random unit generators that generate a random unit based on the generator level, and then sends those units down their respective lane. First team to destroy the opponents bases win.

There isn’t much to say about this map. The premise is one that is well-established in map-making. This map doesn’t bring anything extraordinary to the table, but still runs nicely as a ToW map. Features such as defense turrets, base abilities, and income are implemented effectively.

Some feedback of mine:
-Make units AI controlled to prevent hoarding.
-Allow players to build different types of generators, such as “melee generators” and “spell casting generators”. This prevents chance from being the only reason why you might win a game.
-Remove player bases if the player does not exist.

Random Unit Battlefield is a perfectly solid Tug of War map that, while not stretching outside of the box, is fun with some replay value.
