Random black screens (short duration)

Eh, I'm just wondering if anyone else has experienced it- randomly while doing anything.. like browsing a forum or writing code in Notepad, not while playing though. The screen goes black for a second or so and comes back. It's not much of a problem, I just don't get why it does it. It's usually after a long day so it might be the GPU heating up or something, but strangely enough it never happens while playing games or watching films.

My second monitor tends to do that some times. I am not sure why, it just flashes off but for like half a second. I would think it would have to do with some power short in the monitor or the cable but I am not sure.

Aye, it seems so, but I can't see why it wouldn't flash in games if it was the cable. It seems to be something a bit more intricate.

It is up to date, so that is definitely not the problem. (I've also tried rolling it back to check if it indeed was the driver).

Or run a stability test.

Maybe those "Komplett" guys did something wrong when they put together your computer. We already know they did something wrong at least once.
