Question with Jumpping and Hit detection

Hi, I was wondering if there is a way to make unit jump (triggered either by a spell, say a spell that let u jump from where u r to another location OR triggered with keybord imput)

also, I want to know how exactly does the melee (and maybe ranged) hit detection works, say i get a foot man to jump up to as high as a frostwyrm, while this foot man is in the air, is he still count as a land unit? can say a ghould still attack him?

thx

If you, say, change a footman's height with triggers, his classification still determines whether he is a ground target or not. You must edit his classification field in the Object Editor.

Why Object Editor when we can trigger it through... TRIGGER ?

  • Fly
    • Events
      • Unit - A unit Starts the effect of an ability
    • Conditions
      • (Ability being cast) Equal to Fly
    • Actions
      • Unit - Add Crow Form to (Triggering unit)
      • Animation - Change (Triggering unit) flying height to 300.00 at 500.00
      • Unit - Remove Crow Form from (Triggering unit)
      • Unit - Add classification of A flying unit to (Triggering unit)
