PvP Abusing

Hello players and admins. I am relatively new to this game and just got into a game. 4 of us were low levels, and the 5th guy was a high level 36. Once we got into the game, he pvped and killed us all and told us to join the next game because he wanted his friend to join the game. I was wondering if this was even allowed? This jerk just ruined the game for 4 of us

Well it's extremely frowned upon, but yes, generally bad people/players do those things. Best thing you can do is to not play with them, or get him banned from the bots.

This has already been brought up with the map makers and they basically did nothing about it. So get use to it or just stop playing is my advice since i have this feeling there are no plans to change it.

As much as i hate to admit it teve is better then gaias in this general aspect. They staited they aren't removing it because of some bosses have mechanics where you are required to attack an ally to remove them out of something. It wouldn't of been hard to disable attacking at the start then if you have to attack a certain player enable it then disable it again.

Then when it comes to pvp abuse killing it would not of taken 2 much extra effort to make it so the other player has to type -accept.

PVPing in the game itself is perfectly acceptable and is part of the game, BUT when the PVPing is exploited in a way that makes the bots unplayable for new players and causes damaging behavior towards the community I don't think should be allowed. I am an admin I'll look into doing something about it. Do you know where he plays from? Was he from Garena/Bnet/etc? I can give him like a warning time ban or something

I'm not sure where he plays from, I only have screenshots of his name. If it helps at all, I was playing on west and on the non dungeongroup bot game

Basically what s0ul has said here. This comes under player harassment. The report is handy, I'll add him to my personal list of players to remove from future games.

Also TEVE is better than gaias in absolutely no way at all.

If people want to grief other players, there's ALWAYS ways to do that even with pvp disabled in general. For example, you can ninja loot or exploit the threat system to reset bossfights in mid-combat. I won't take a core mechanic out of the game just because there's one asshole playing the game.

there are actually 3 ways to avoid those persons:

1. report them to a admin. (soul/vestra/gotenks or me)
2. !votekick command is your best friend. (just use !votekick shapy for example)
3. if u have friends playing with you check out the 2nd bot, you can start it with 3 ppl and there are way less people joining.
