Problem With Opening Map

it loads... loading units/ doodads/ variables... then it closes.

"wordleditor.exe" needs to close" etc.

this happens only with the map im working on, so its not a general thing with WE.

how to fix this?

do you mean it's a crash?
the map is protected or corrupted(destroyed)

Sounds like it's been protected, is it your map? If its your map your working on make sure you make multiples saves next time so you don't loose your work.

it is my map.

i guess it is lost.

never mind, i progressed through it in a lousy manner anyway, that i feel sloppily about it; now i can work on it orderly.

Err ... Did you save it with WEU ?? (World Editor Unlimited)
and try to open it with Normal WE?
That won't work :> See'ing as WEU has alot of new features and it would make normal WE crit error
If that's not the reason you lost your map , badluck
