Problem with old map

I got some trouble with the old Ninja vs Samurai Legends (Iv'e tried both 4.5 version and 3.5). I can't play it. If I klick the map in wc3 it doesn't show any player slots and if I try to host it in lan or on bnet the chain animation thingie will show and I'm returned to the lan-menu/I get an error massage which says: "Game not found". I don't have this problem with other maps. Any idea what's causing this and how to solve it?

It's a map that uses features from the old patches, the pre 1.24 ones. If it is protected, there is nothing you can do about it.
