Possible to hide text?

Alpha doesn't work. But you can colour it the same colour as the background

I suppose but that is not optimal. I want to hide stuff inside a unit name and black color could work. But then there'd be edge cases where people have modified the background and it wouldn't work anymore. Probably a stupid idea to begin with anyway.

And yea, alpha didnt work.

Are you trying to store data inside a unit's name? You could probably use the 8 given hex fields of a color code to do that, I surmise. E.g. |cXXXXXXXX|cYYYYYYYY|cZZZZZZZZ|r<Normal Unit Name>

But wouldn't it move the normal visible text anyway? This feels like a futile effort for very little gain. ^^

No, it shouldn't. Color codes don't change the position of the text anywhere in WC3, they just change the color of the text that comes after that. I'm pretty sure I've seen examples of color codes being used in unit names and they didn't mess with the positioning.
