[JASS] possible to change the hero-attack-type with jass?

is it possible (im not sure, =/) with jass, (i don't believe doing it with triggers is possible) where, when you buy "xxxx" item, it changes your hero's attack type to "this"?

if so, could someone create one (if you have the time, as i suck with jass) to make me one where you purchase Chaotic attack, will change your heros attack type to CHAOS instead of its current PIERCING attack?

There is no way to change a hero's attack-type in-game. What you could do, which would be a little less practical, would be to save all the hero's stats to variables, and have a copy of your unit, and have that copy have the other attack ability. Then, replace the unit with your copy, and update all the stats.

lol nah, i think ill just not implement it, as i'd have to copy over 200 heros, and i just don't feel like doing that, lol.

Could be done with orb abilities activating a second attack, or with an upgrade (but they are permament).

Orb abilities will not work properly, since they can only enable attack 2, which is preceeded with attack 1.

Jass definatly can not do this.
You can use jass to replace the hero with a nother hero with a different attack type though.
