Portals:
Description: |
For lack of a better name, I will be calling this project "Portals" for now, it is an rpg that will support up to 4 human controlled players. What makes my RPG unique, is the map is cut up into sections. To travel between sections you enter portals. With this project I'll try not to drift too far outside of the box, in other words, I'm not trying to mod warcraft III into something it's not.. this usually ends up returning ugly results. Although the map is in early development I decided to open up this thread in hope of assistance with things like brainstorming.

Features: |
- A unique style of terrain that seperates the map into many different small areas, to move between these areas you must teleport through different portals.
- Dungeons, which can only be attempted with multiple players. Dungeons include multiple stages, which each have a goal you must achieve in order to open the portal to the next stage, ultimately resulting in a boss fight.
- More bosses outside of dungeons.
- Three Basic item types: Amulets, Rings, and Charms, you may carry 1 amulet, 2 rings, and 2 charms at max, leaving room for a consumable item here and there.
- Item sets that include 1 amulet, 1 ring, and 1 charm and give you a bonus when you wield all three.
- Customized experience system.
- Customized bounty system, only killing blows have a chance to award bounty. Monsters in dungeons will not award bounty, but give more exp than other monsters.
- Hopefully much more to come
What I Need: |

I'd really appreciate any ideas for the following:
- Dungeon stages
- Bosses
- Items/Sets
- Hero/Spell concepts
- Quest ideas
- Anything else you may think of
Also may be looking to test a very crude version of this map some time soon, just to make sure all the multi-player functions are in order..
At some point in the future I'll probably be looking for a terrainer, this will be a unique terraining project and although I consider myself a half-way decent terrainer, my work is nothing exceptional.
Thanks for readin'.
