okay guys I need some help in refining a map concept.
The basic idea is a city that is mostly in ruins and those are in habited by zombies and the rest is separated by running water which kills zombies.
so I can do models I just need some one to help w/ refining the Idea be for we get started.
 
are these zombies AI or human?

Make the zombies amphibious
-Give them the submerge ability
--Make it cast Submerge as much as it can
---If finished, kill casting unit
 
I'm thinking AI because 3/4 of an epic map full of zombies seems little beyond human capability to me.

and i was thinking more of a trigar that just removed any (zombie) unit who entered region X from game but that will work to.

It might be better this way just because the zombies would look like they can enter the water... and it wouldn't just look like the zombies dissappear right when they reach the edge....

They look like they're drowning....

Also.... Making locations at EVERY BIT OF WATER....
Would be kinda annoying.....
or you would have it one big stream instead of a winding river like most rivers really are.....

THis way.... A zombie that entered the water at ANY place would die.... No leaks.... I don't think...
 
Souns like a nifty map if rather cliche'd. Would the human players be controlling a hero RPG stlyle or would it be a strategy? Zombies when you kill them should split into Zombie Parts (ie: hands, arms, legs) which are weaker than the whole zombie (obviously). Perhaps have flowing and non-flowing water (undead/demons are traditionally only repelled/killed by flowing water). This would make it impossible for the submerge method to work but might add another aspect of gameplay.
 
well yeah flowing water would defiantly be more interesting.
but now i need a triggerer and terainer as i am but a lowly model maker.
