Play videos like in Wc3 campaigns

Guys how do I play videos/cutscenes like the ones on the blizzard campaigns?what format are they and is it possible to do this for non-campaign maps..

If you use NEWGEN world editor theres an option in GUI which allows you to play them anytime during your game I believe. They must be .mpq format otherwise they won't work. Hope that helped.

The scenes are not really scenes, but are high quality units triggered in-game. You can find the models in the world editor, but you will not find the animations.

No they're not? You know at the end of the campaign how it zooms outta WC and shows the movie. That's what he means I think. Those are movie clips.

It's launched in 'Blizzard Player' I believe, try googling that (might come up with format). But if it's for G&E that would be problematic in multiplayer games...

Yup for G&E(wishful thinking that is).Well maybe just a promo ad or something,Im really into doing 3d stuff lately..
