Pimples are the worst

I've tried just about everything from cheap products to extremely expensive ones. I've tried pills, teas, injections, and face masks of every kind.

these devilish pimples just won't stay dead.

There surely must be a cure? I mean 20 years on and nothing works... something is seriously wrong.

how do you treat your pimples and how long have you had them?

You should wash your face in the morning and before going to sleep. Also there are acne treatments you can get prescription for.

Try not to touch your face with the tip of your fingers (unless you really have to).Clean it everyday too.
a teacher once told me that even before I had pimples and it's true but at the same time you have to remember that the air is filled with germs too. having pimples opens you up to all that bacteria warfare

wash your face every time it gets oily.

also use an oil to moisturize your face when it's too dry. sounds counterintuitive I know but your skin cracks and leads to more wounds and infections.

I personally use neem oil since it is an anti bacterial oil which doesn't absorb into the face. important as instead of dissipating it sticks around to prevent your face from drying out and prevented bacteria from festering

still doesn't grantee immunity

if you're a teenager or a little older pimples are the rule, nothing more to do than what you're doing. It'll go away
I get that, I mean I was laughing my head off at my friends advertising oxy10 and dermatologists because they said they just kept visiting them for 23 years and it works.

lol oxy10 contains bleach, are you really going to trust a product that only kicks in after 20 years or so? Which clearly means you're use just out lasts your pimples time frame

Where as dermatologist are just greedy jerks taking advantage of some people's ignorance.

No thank you I'll stick to my natural oils and herbs but that said why won't my pimples quite? I mean I'm like super old now....

@Roland

Gross.... and how does this help? Is your cure popping pimples on scared little girls?

Tips how to remove your Pimples!"]
Thaaanks. Nightmares for days now.

Maybe... the oils... aren't working then? Seems like if they're not helping it's time to try something new. Also I can't even picture myself conscientiously putting MORE oil on my face so maybe I'm biased.

And i've never been to a dermatologist before because my dad freezes all my moles off with his liquid nitrogen gun, and my friend with really bad acne doesn't think they help much because all they do is prescribed accutane which hasn't worked yet for him. But... surely there's a reason they're around right?

For me I've found it have to drink lots of water, be out in the sun at least a couple times a day, avoid chocolate and soda (sugar I guess?) and never ever touch my face except to wash- but you can even overdo that. Also stress still causes breakouts and I'm well past teenage years (although not nearly as bad if I do the other things).

Also ughhhh Roland's image is still in my head and I'm dying help.

There are certain oils that actually dry the skin (weird I know) but I also use clay masks which can one can wear all day (as long as it doesn't itch or get damp)

dermatologists deal with skin disease. pimples are not a skin disease. therefore going to a dermatologists is like going to a foot doctor when your back is swore. slightly related but no not really.

...you say you freeze you moles off? I've never had a mole myself but my brother developed one after I shot him. he used super glue on the mole and after a week it fell off. I don't know if that is safe but I'm guessing it is more available than liquid nitrogen. As a herbalist I know that dandelion sap also gets rid of moles but I have never seen it actually used so I can't grantee it works. still it is something to think of when next you develop a mole. a natural alternative

I have moles all over- well over 100- just the majority are flat and harmless, they look like big freckles. Of course I don't/shouldn't get all of them frozen off (also- ouch), just the one's that are more likely to develop into a skin cancer (when they grow suddenly, change color, have big hairs growing out, or just weird looking) or else when they stick out and look ugly or are uncomfortable (skin tags).

EDIT: Also acne 100% falls under the purview of dermatologists... at least here in the States. Of course, not all will be specialized in that particular area but I'm willing to bet that a majority of their young non-cancer patients they see are coming to them chiefly for acne.

maybe you should try the dandelion sap to get rid of those dormant moles.

Dermatologists by definition is,'a specialist in dermatology ,
especially a doctor who specializes
in the treatment of diseases of the
skin'

If anything pimples are a disorder not disease. I guess America however, enjoys twisting the English language to their own benefit.

hmm... I guess waiting it out is the only solution. Sad really. you think with all our knowledge here on the hive.... sigh
