Photoshop problem (non wc3 related)

i am trying to do frame animation in photoshop cs3, but when i select a layer on one frame and do free transform to change where abouts it is, it changes all the other frames, is there anyway i can sort this?

also, (if you've used fireworks you'll know what i mean) in fireworks when you select a layer it comes up with the x and y value and the height and width, is there a way i can get that to come up in photoshop without having to go to free transform everytime

Frame animation in photoshop? Why not use flash?

i haven't got flash, and i don't like flash, too easy to go wrong
