I put the "Phoenix, Phoenix Egg" model for Metamorphisis and it works but when I use it in game the Phoenix changes to an egg when its standing and not doing anything. How would I fix that?
-Thanks

K lemme try to show you where im at.

1. I made a hero named Blood Mage
2. I copied and pasted that same hero but renamed it "Phoenix" and changed its model to "Phoenix, Phoenix egg". (So now I have 2 heros and I use the "Phoenix" for the alternate form slot in the Metamorphisis spell.
3. I placed both Blood Mage and Phoenix in the world eiditor near each other.
4. Phoenix had its model and Blood mage had its model so it was perfect.
5. Now in game I made Blood Mage use metamorphisis and he changed to "Phoenix" but everytime he stood still he changed its model to the Phoenix egg while the whole time the first "Phoenix" stayed a phoenix model no matter what

So it probably had soemthing to do with the spell.

You could make a trigger which hide the casting unit and spawns the "morphed" one, then has a life time of X secs. Then show casting unit when it is removed. (you might need to add "kill the caster" also when the morphed one dies by dmg)

yea thats what ive been doing. Ive used the Replace unit trigger but the problem i have is when he dies in phoenix form because he then revives as a permanent phoenix but that wont be too hard to fix.
thanks though
i was just making sure there wasnt any easier way
