How to fix alternate animation thing?

Did you copy it from the regular phoenix or fill in the data for some other unit? This problem will happen if you try to copy the troll berserker model (where he carries two javelins and generally looks more badass lol).

If you are trying to move it to a hero or something, make sure to copy in all of the "Animation - ..." fields from the regular phoenix.
 
I'd have to look at this more in the editor, but is it not the same as using the troll berserker model (as opposed to the regular troll model)? Can't you just find the animation field that sets this thing?

It'll be a bit before I can test (busy tonight and can't check this during the day), but just go through your phoenix hero and copy paste every single field from the regular phoenix for the animation fields.
 
Yes.. It stands as a Phoenix egg and moves as a Phoenix. Can I remove the morphing animation of the ability somehow? Cause it morphs into the ground hero like it morphs into the egg, and I want it to use 'death' animation.

edit: I think it won't cause this problem if the phoenix isn't the alternate unit, but I need the phoenix to be the alternate :/
 
I don't see the reason of using Alternate animation tags for a Phoenix model, unless the custom attachment SFX requires you to do so, for which there is the field bellow the one in green on my screeny.

If you needed spell animations, you can type them out in strings ("Morph, Alternate" (as like you'd type out "Spell, Slam")).

To fix the base up, just remove the green field on your Phoenix Hero by deleting it's content.
