Is there some way I can get this effect to hit magic immune enemies? Reflect off of Defend? Or anything of that sort. Basically, I'd like to find a way to make Phoenix Fire reflect the nature of normal attacks, instead of a spell attack. I found a system that advertised that it did this, but upon testing it didn't work as advertised (Did not interact properly with abilities, just armor).

oh, really? i think i found a thread that had what you were looking for. let me check again.

was http://www.thehelper.net/forums/showthread.php?t=58249 what you were looking for?

Actually, no. That is the system that I mentioned in the original post that failed to interact properly with any abilities (such as, say, Defend) when I tested it out.

Contrary to what Vulcano said, I'm sure it would be possible (after all, making the Phoenix Fire spell from scratch was possible for Blizzard), just not terribly simple.

hmm...i think what you need is an additional system added to that one. you need to make up your own abilities that will interact with it. all triggered. like i made up my custom defend because quite honestly...i think the defend that comes with wc3 is a total joke. it sucks. so i triggered my own defend ability. i think you'll need to do the same thing.
