Pending Maps section, abandoned or bugged?

Is pending maps abandoned or just a bug? For 2-3 months already, all pending maps now no longer displays in All Maps filter, which I believe that most people will not click pending maps filter to find some maps.

Which make those pending maps got 0 download for month if it not being given links somewhere else and therefore, less approval chances.

i think that "All Maps" option will prioritize more recent maps to display?
to solve that abandoned problem, the creator or the uploader should be regularly bump the thread, no?
if they do really care about the approval status of their map, i guess a little bit extra work to bump the thread regularly still sufficient.

All maps only shows approved works.

Interestingly it shows how much of our download traffic is from non registered users, since the pending section gets almost no downloads and that most non users won't bother checkung there

Most pending maps suck either way so it doesn't really matter all that much.

they could always PM the mod... and they could actually still put links (on their sigs, or if they have a thread on the map development thread...)

so I think the map dev subforums is more important now than before...

yes bro they are awake and I can see them move in the map section helping others. for pending maps to get approved, they should consult one of the map moderators to let them check there maps, like what Adiktuz said. because its much more organize than before.

I doubt about PMs, as friend of mine (kaninhot004) has PM to some mod to review his Wolf's Defense X but still not getting review or approval.

I might give it a try when my map is ready though.

I sent a VM to -Kobas- and he approved my map within three days.

But yeah, I dislike it this way because now pending maps get alot less attention and feedback.

The pending maps are receiving less attention now that you can't see them unless you click specifically on pending maps. This would be fine if there was a greater amount of traffic in Map Development.

In my experience the 'reviewers' simply rate the description and call it good. Not useful.

Reviewers don't approve/disapprove maps either.

Agreed. The only reviews you see are ones which are like '5/5 great job. Perfect' or '1/5 and voted for rejection. This sucks' though the rare times I've reviewed I don't do this.

Been there, done that... the downrate is still present and the map is still pending.

Once I implement the new UI, I figured I could spam one or all of the map mods on their VMs, PMs, and in the Resource Moderation forum untill something happened (as in they reply... at all).

Coz the mods doesnt have time to moderate it that's why reviewers are there for a reason, well anyone could be a reviewer...

yeah, the mods are pretty busy, two of them are programmers in real-life I think, the other one, IDK... and also remember that they're not being paid to do this...

For me I dont give a damn if my map is approved or not as long as its NOT rejected and "I made it" and some people like it...I enjoy making maps/triggers/spells more than playing the game...
