I have motherboard Asus m2a-vm-hdmi and i want to buy new graphic card
Nvidia Gtx460 1gb GDDR5 i want to know if my mobo supports it .

Yes it is. Cards are rarely incompatible with a motherboard. I'd be more concerned about your power supply. How many watts, and what brand is your power supply unit?

There shouldn't be. 600 should be plenty to power the card, and I'm not even sure what kind of problems/tips there are in regards to Mobo-PSU compatibility. It'd have to be a strange board not to work with any good PSU.

Didn't notice it was an additional PSU, not a stand-alone. I have no experience with them, so I can't help much.

However I'd be careful, I think the card may take 160 watts per pin. As I said though, I've never looked into a PSU like that.

well, from his reports, I gotta say that we installed it properly :D (aside from the pulling out of glued TV card, and the point that his case is opened from one side and the PSU is on the case :D ). I helped him configure the drivers and showed him what and where to configure... 't was fun :D (especially the SC2 on ultra with 130 FPS >.> )
