Patch Help

I want to start playing WoW I have only the first CD and no patch.What patch i must download and can i play without burning crusade expansion?And please dont laugh

Well... Lets just say you will be spending quite a while downloading, theres prob about a dozen patches you have to download, some very long ones and short ones. Also you need 4 cds to install, afterwards you dont need to use them to play it. Also you can play WoW without the expansion, though it would prob be better to just get the expansion, sense they ruined how wow was unique, its kinda hard to experience to game fully. Anyway sense your new it shouldnt matter. Also you dont have to manually download the patches, it will auto download. If not just go to the Wow website
