Drunken Haze and Acid Bomb have buffs, but you can remove their effect, by setting all values to 0.
Using a damage detection system, you can detect when the missile hits the target and remove the buff, so they can be used as base spell for missile spells.
 
Setting values to 0 make it permanent, and removing buff through trigger interferes with same type buff, chain lightning doesn't work.
Duration actually does not matter, because the buff is removed as soon it is applied. You will use a custom buff for every custom ability with missiles. You will sacrifice one of these abilities and only use it for custom missile abilities, but you can use it for as many abilities as you want.
