Orc Warlord

Last year I and Direfury had a little 'competition' which considered making models only using icons as a texture. So he gave me and idea to make an orc model and I made this.
I used the animations from his Dire Berserker model.

I also included both weapons' missiles for spell animations.

Give credits to both of us if you use it. Enjoy!

Changes:
Fixed portrait background plane.

I highly suggest this icon if you use this model: Orc Warlord made by @LordGandulfo88 .

Review: Model looks very fine and works ingame. Creative use of textures. Additional missile models are pretty handy. One suggestion: Trigger the beastmaster attack sounds a bit earlier on in the animations, right now he grunts a bit delayed when...

Despite in-game textures not getting any younger (sadly), it's a great model! I like it a lot, especially the weapons and shoulderpads, and will definitely use it. :cgrin: 5/5!

Excellent! Simply as a proof-of-concept, this is a knock-out success; I love that whole idea of "skinned only with BTNs". Revolutionary. And as per this discussion, I'm a massive fan of people collaborating & using custom model's animation sets for their new custom models.

I will say, though, that I'd love to see a version of this done with a few standard in-game textures fudged in; there are sections of the armor & such (pauldrons, mace spikes, pants...) that seem a little cluttered/messy (just an unfortunate result of the icon, not your fault IMO).

Excellent work!

Direfury suggested it to me, so I mentioned it earlier as an idea for a contest. You could've remember it.
I agree about the textures I will do it with the standard textures at some point. But not right now.

Oh I remember Direfury talking about it (& doing it ). I was talking about how cool I think it is, though; no need to defend. : )

Sure sure. Just my $0.02

Really I'm mostly glad to see a non-Warcrafts-Legends model from you. ; )
