Orb Of Slow Ability Questions

How does the orb of slow ability work?
I tried giving the ability to a unit and changed the ability cast from slow to frost nova and chain lightening.
I also changed the percent proc to 90%

However, that unit only cast the spell maybe once every 40 hits.

Am I doing something wrong or is there something I need to be weary about.

Does the Frost Nova/Chain lightning have a mana cost? Did you change the abilities accordingly to follow the format on normal orb effects?

And how did you manage to give 2 abilities to one orb? Orb effects do not stack, by the way.

Other than that, I don't know any other intrinsic things about orbs. Perhaps there is a built in procs per minute kind of thing?

maybe post a screenshot of your object editor so it might become clear whats your problem, and maybe try using orb of lightning instead, thats the one i use and it works. another thing might be that the effect only works when the units is ordered to attack

Orb of slow give chance to slow enemy. Change the chance in ability editor.

Angry Bovine was true. orb effect doesn't stack. You can't use orb of fire, venom, lightning, slow and ice in one time.

Make sure you make your chain lightning and frost nova have 0 cooldown, that should fix it.
