Orb of Fire doesn't work????

As the title says, I have created an ability using the ability: Item Attack Fire Bonus (The ability the Orb of Fire has) and for a strange reason my new ability doesn't work. There's no effect at all.
Help please.

That happened to me too when I attached a staff to my entry on the Hero Contest 6. The staff was another orb ability, and it disabled other orb effects. Maybe you have another orb effect on your hero?

Give us a blank test map with your setting to overlook the problem.

It's the same ability. I have only changed the name, the missile and the burn that appears in nearby enemies. Nothing else.

Splash damage is not dealt at all!!
Never mind.
I'll try making it via triggers..........

I'll have a trigger do it.
To add more custom data.
