This is the Model ofr Altar of Storms as it was in Warcraft 2 Game.
I know that there already is some model on Hive, but I wanted to make some with better quality and detalization.
UPD: removed excessive bones and verticles to reduce mdx filesize.
Model now is 111 kb
and texture is 206 kb

I would not be against some reduced file size, but as it is that's not too bad.

File sizes like this should not really be a matter at this point given that multiplayer maps now have a leeway of 80MB.

Not everyone have fast download speed. Optimization separates good maps from very good maps ^^

I think the texture/wrapping could use some work in order to make the transition from the stairs to floor look more seamless, but otherwise, great work! It's been long-needed model. I really like its closeness to the original.

I agree with the file reduction, just because we got more space doesn't mean we should all make sloppy models that take 1mb each.
People should still try keep the filesize low.

It's something I have been having in mind for years, and I'll probably get into it someday. I don't have the time, so in 2030 maybe...
But there's another project currently on track: @LordPerenoldeII's remake, and it sounds promising.
Anyway, awesome building, @Tamplier777! Thank you so much for your old school models. Any plans for other W2 buildings? And HD W2 models for Reforged?
