6 years ago isn't what I'd call "old" in music terms - might be a significantly large portion of your life, to make it seem that way (if you're under 16)

I'm one to think of "oldies" as ones at least as old as me, probably closer to pre-1990 songs though.

First time I listened to this was 7 years ago in my brother's playlist. I thought this was one of those songs where the lyrics can't be understood at all, still I loved the song. Now I realized it's the opening theme of the best anime out there.

Mike said that THP wase heavily influenced by Hybrid Theory's sound but I'm so grateful that they decided not to synth it and only added a little bit of electrical feel unlike Hybrid Theory. Overall THP sound so refreshing while bringing the hip-hop influence back to the band. Who said going soft is the only way to mature in the rock scene? Go loud Linkin Park!
