Ok well, i don't really know which thread i should post this at so i'm posting it here, if anyone knows where i should post this at the forums please tell me, others give your opinions.

So lets say i'm developing an application which you can drop a link on it and it downloads it then reacts depending to its type, cool yes? but there is a problem here.

I can't get the filename and i would either have to delete the file afterwards or give numbers to it, i may be able to find a solution later but maybe not so i am posting this.

Is it still useful/worth to put my time on it? If so which way do you think i should implement?
