noob question

i new to this custom map thingies and everything but i have a question how do u put up customs spell u downloaded? i mean i downloaded the spell and uploaded it to the editor how do i assing it to a unit? plz help me iam working on a map and i really like to kno

i tried that and it didnt work iam trying to use the meteor ability for my game so can u give me little more detail
