Night Stalker abilities, how do I imitate em?

Is it possible, without jass, to make an ability only functional at night? (Like the night stalker from DOTA) I assume it's only possible with Jass, but if it isn't I'd like to know how to do it? If it is I'm gonna head to the Jass forums...

It's from DoTA man... Remember? It's the guy with abilities that function better at night?(or only function at night)

The only possible way to make it work good is to trigger it (in what ever way you like to) and you're posting in the wrong section.. this should go in the world editor help zone.

Tutorial
It tells you how to make day/night passives. You can use it for NS' Fear as well.

Also, for Void, simply base a spell off stormbolt, set the stats and all that, and do a simple trigger.

    • Unit - A unit Starts the effect of an ability
  • Conditions
    • (Ability being cast) Equal to Void
  • Actions
    • If (All Conditions are True) then do (Then Actions) else do (Else Actions)
      • If - Conditions
        • (In-game time of day) Greater than or equal to 6.00
        • (In-game time of day) Less than 18.00
      • Then - Actions
        • -------- Create Dummy and cast some slow. --------
      • Else - Actions
