NewGen Edit tiles

So NewGen editor won't let me use the Edit Tile addon. When I press the Edit Tiles nothing happens ;/ However it can edit the tiles in some maps (which are not mine) why is this?

I had the exact same problem. I can't get it to use 16 tiles in my maps but I can in other maps. I know this doesn't help, but I just want you to know you are not alone haha.

Make sure not to save again after selecting the tiles.
Selecting the tiles and pressing ok auto-saves.If you save it again,tiles will be gone.

But for me, It won't open the window which has the tile images inside, When I press "Edit Tileset" field from Extentions it won't just let me do it. Nothing happens. :/

mqke sure your antivirus didnt remove any of the files in JNGP
also make sure you save map before trying to edit tiles, it will not show up until the map is saved at least once

Yeah, thanks for help, however I can not fix this. No matter why I do my Antivirus Program deletes files from the package. :/ Complains there is viruses

Ever heard of exceptions? Any antivirus possibly have this option. You can select files or entire folders and make them invisible to scan.

yes, I have heard of the Exceptions but they will not help, it's rated as highest risk right when I download it or start it so the Antivirus will delete some files right away

• Disable antivirus for 5 min
• download file
• extract into folder on HD
• add folder into exceptions
• enable antivirus...

I have that problem..but i don'tknow if we are the same try this..

MODIFY TILESET - CLICK CUSTOM TILESET - then ok..

You can now open the edit tileset..if doesnt work.. try adding a new tileset using the modify tileset..then i am sure you can open the Edit Tile set at newgen..
