Murlocs!
Do it like Goat Simulator.
They could call it 'Murloc Simulator: The Azerothian Chronicles' or something.
Since Murlocs are of such weakness their gameplay would be totally different and mostly the polar opposite of your everyday wow activites. Fe. where you would gather to chop mobs with murlocs youd be running away to get more exp the longer you could stay alive. They would be an independent faction hostile to everyone else and viewed only as creep, one of their allies perhaps the only one being the Makrura lobstrokk-people.
At starting zone they can start out in the water trying to eat smaller fish to get bigger to grow limbs necessary so they can get out the water as some sort of a tutorial level.
They would have different stealing professions instead gathering ones since they are too weak to conduct labor duty themselves, crafting would be very limited to sea-materials at begin, with items like ordinary sword coming at later levels, then being treated like an artifact and such.
+Fishing and creep respawn(someplace random in the zone instead at nextbest graveyard) would be among their racial traits whilst having 'Frog Jumping' as innate.

It is obvious the next Warcraft will have only 4 races. Based on current trends, these will be...
Humans
Orcs
Worgans
Pandarians

Just because people like playing as half human half animal hybrids...

If they were more generous you could probably expect undead and nightelves to return.

I don't think Blizzard will do update because their WoW, Diablo and Starcraft series. They left warcraft III
They run different development teams except for art which is some times pooled between them depending on up-coming releases as maintenance does not need them.

The people who would work on Warcraft IV are still working on StarCraft II (well and that AoS that used to be called Blizzard Allstars). They have another expansion (Legacy of the Void) still scheduled, after which they might consider looking into a Warcraft IV or maybe even a new fantasy RTS.
